EngageBay MCP

EngageBay for Cursor

Give Cursor live EngageBay CRM context while you build.

Add the EngageBay MCP server to Cursor and let the Agent read CRM data while you build integrations or debug workflows. Look up real field keys, types and allowed values instead of guessing them.

Cursor connects to the hosted server over HTTP, so there is nothing to install locally. There are 19 tools, and what they can read and change follows the permissions granted to your connection.

How to connect EngageBay to Cursor

  1. Open MCP settings

Open Cursor Settings → Tools & MCP and choose Add new MCP server. Cursor opens your mcp.json file.

  2. Add the EngageBay server

Paste this into ~/.cursor/mcp.json for all projects, or .cursor/mcp.json for a single project.

    {  "mcpServers": {    "engagebay": {      "url": "https://mcp.engagebay.com/mcp"    }  }}
  3. Sign in

Cursor shows EngageBay with a Connect or login prompt. Select it, sign in with your EngageBay account and approve access.

  4. Check the tools

A green status dot means the server is running. Expand EngageBay to see the tools Cursor can call.

  5. Use it in Agent mode

Open a chat in Agent mode and ask about your CRM. Approve tool calls when Cursor asks.

Tools

These tools read and write your CRM. Select one for its parameters, examples and limits, or see the full reference for all 19 tools. Nothing here deletes a record.

Only connect tools you trust. Cursor shows you the actions it wants to take, and access always follows the permissions of the EngageBay user who signs in. You can disconnect at any time.

Frequently asked questions

No. EngageBay MCP is hosted, and Cursor connects to it over HTTP with the URL above.

Only within the permissions you grant. Cursor can create and update contacts, companies, deals, tasks and appointments when your connection has the matching write permission, and products are read only. It cannot delete anything — no EngageBay MCP tool deletes records, and no permission grants deletion.

You can start with a free EngageBay account. Availability of specific features depends on your plan — see the pricing page for details.

Cursor can only see and change what the signed-in EngageBay user is allowed to. Read our privacy policy to learn how EngageBay handles your data.
