What this tool does
Records in EngageBay — deals, tasks, and so on — store their owner as an internal user id, not as a name. When a request mentions a person by name (“tasks assigned to Priya”), that name needs to be resolved to the matching id before it can be used in a filter, because filters match ids, never names.
list_users returns everyone on the account with their id, name, email, and role, in a single call. It takes no parameters — it always returns the full list, which your assistant then matches against the name in your request.
This is a small, whole-account list. There's no search or filter parameter here, because account user lists are typically small enough that returning everyone in one call is simpler than paging through it.
What you can ask
“How many tasks are overdue for Priya?” — list_users resolves “Priya” to an id, then count_crm_objects filters on it.
“Who are all the users on this account?”
“What's Priya's role on the account?”
“Show me deals owned by Raj.”
