EngageBay for Perplexity
Bring your EngageBay CRM data into your Perplexity threads.
Connect EngageBay to Perplexity as a custom remote connector and combine web research with your own CRM data. The EngageBay MCP server provides 19 tools for finding, counting and reading your records, and for creating and updating them.
Perplexity queries EngageBay only when the connector is enabled for the thread, and what it can read and change follows the permissions of the signed-in EngageBay user.
How to connect EngageBay to Perplexity
Open Connectors
Sign in at perplexity.ai and go to Settings → Connectors. Remote connectors are available on paid plans.
Add a custom connector
Choose + Custom connector to open the setup form.
Enter the details
Set the name to EngageBay, paste the MCP server URL below, choose OAuth as the authentication method and Streamable HTTP as the transport.

Confirm that you trust the connector and save. Perplexity opens EngageBay so you can sign in and approve access.
Use it in a thread
Start a new thread, open the connector or sources menu and enable EngageBay. Then ask about your contacts, deals or tasks.

Frequently asked questions
Remote connectors are offered on paid Perplexity plans. Availability can change, so check your plan settings in Perplexity.
Only within the permissions you grant. Perplexity can create and update contacts, companies, deals, tasks and appointments when your connection has the matching write permission, and products are read only. It cannot delete anything — no EngageBay MCP tool deletes records, and no permission grants deletion.
