How to connect EngageBay to GitHub Copilot
Check requirements
You need VS Code with GitHub Copilot and access to Agent mode. If your organization manages Copilot, an admin must allow MCP servers in Copilot.
Add the EngageBay server
Create

Select Start above the server entry in

In Copilot Chat, switch to Agent mode, open the tools picker and make sure EngageBay is checked.

Ask about your CRM or ask Copilot to build against it. Approve each tool call when prompted.
Using the Copilot coding agent?
Repository-level MCP configuration for the coding agent does not support interactive sign-in, so it needs a token instead. Add the server under Repository settings → Copilot → Coding agent and store the token as a secret.

MCP support depends on the Copilot client. This guide covers VS Code; other GitHub Copilot clients may use different configuration.
Only within the permissions you grant. GitHub Copilot can create and update contacts, companies, deals, tasks and appointments when your connection has the matching write permission, and products are read only. It cannot delete anything — no EngageBay MCP tool deletes records, and no permission grants deletion.
